“Zargoon and the Magic Lamp” is Eid 2025’s breakout family blockbuster on the Kuwaiti stage – a big-budget sequel to Aladdin that blended a legendary cast (Haifa Adel and fellow theatre veterans with rising stars), cinematic visuals by Invisible.inc, and a full-scale Ooredoo-backed campaign into one of the year’s most talked-about shows. Originally slated for a limited Eid run, the production was extended with additional performances through April thanks to strong demand and word-of-mouth from families, influencers, and local press, who repeatedly highlighted its world-class production values, nostalgic ‘80s golden-era theatre feel, and role in reviving Kuwait’s family theatre tradition.
